Students aiming to take the SAT on August 24, 2024, must register by August 9. Conducted by the College Board, the SAT is crucial for undergraduate admissions in colleges in the United States and Canada. Registration for this session is currently underway.
Candidates can make changes, regular cancellations, and late registrations until August 13. The registration fee is USD 68 (approximately Rs 5,692), with an additional regional fee of USD 43. Late registration incurs a fee of USD 34, test center changes cost USD 29, and cancellations also require a fee of USD 29. Fee waivers are available for low-income 11th and 12th-grade students in the US or its territories.
The College Board has also announced future SAT dates: October 5, November 2, and December 7, 2024; and March 8, May 3, and June 7, 2025. Registration is open for all these dates, and students can register based on their qualifications and eligibility.
The SAT 2024 will include math, reading, writing, and language tests. Scores range from 400 to 1600, with scores above the average being acceptable for admission to many colleges and universities.
