The National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog) has launched an AI-powered personalized learning platform called “Atal Tinkering Labs – Personalized Adaptive Learning (ATL-PAL)” to revolutionize the way students learn in schools across the country.ATL-PAL is designed to provide each student with a customized learning experience based on their individual needs, abilities, and learning styles. The platform uses advanced AI algorithms to analyze student performance, identify knowledge gaps, and provide targeted interventions and learning resources.The platform offers a wide range of interactive learning modules, simulations, and gamified activities across various subjects, including science, mathematics, and coding.
Students can access the platform through their smartphones, tablets, or computers, making learning accessible anytime, anywhere.”ATL-PAL is a game-changer in the field of education,” said Amitabh Kant, CEO of NITI Aayog. “By harnessing the power of AI and technology, we aim to create a more inclusive and equitable education system that empowers every child to reach their full potential.”
The platform has been developed in collaboration with leading EdTech companies and educational experts, ensuring that it aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the learning outcomes prescribed by the NCERT.NITI Aayog has also announced plans to provide ATL-PAL to all schools with Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) across the country, covering over 10,000 schools by the end of 2024.
The government will also provide necessary infrastructure support, including tablets, laptops, and internet connectivity, to ensure that all students have access to the platform.The launch of ATL-PAL is a significant step towards leveraging technology to improve the quality of education and make learning more engaging and effective for students. It also highlights the government’s commitment to promoting innovation and digital transformation in the education sector.
